Details

Handmade statue made in lost wax cast from resin and then painted.
Ganesha also called Ganesh or Ganapati is the most worshiped deity in India. He is called to overcome the humility and obstacles in life.
As the first son of Shiva, he symbolizes wisdom and success. Ganesh is considered the embodiment of the cosmic Urlauts "Om". A syllable made up of the 3 letters A (for Brahman the Creator), U (for Vishnu the Sustainer) and M (for Shiva the Destroyer). According to legend, his father Lord Shiva had to promise his mother Parvati that the first prayer of the day is to be dedicated to Ganapati (Ganesh) and made him Lord of the Heavenly Hosts.
Ganapati stands for wisdom and intelligence, as well as for overcoming obstacles. He is the master of the arts and sciences. He proves these qualities impressively according to a well-known Hindu legend. Shiva asked his sons how big the universe was. Skanda, the brother of Ganeshas, immediately mounted his mount, a peacock, and flew into space to explore the borders. Ganesha with his mount, a rat, could not follow him. He turned to his father, Lord Shiva, circling him and saying there is no beginning and no end.
